Prairie View Animal Hospital in Grimes, Iowa is seeking a full-time associate to join our small animal practice. We are a locally-owned, family-first small animal hospital with well-trained, highly-utilized staff. We provide a team-oriented approach to patient and client care, providing an environment in which individuals are allowed to thrive. We embrace Fear-Free techniques as our full-time staff and doctors are Fear-Free certified.
Days are flexible and include Mon 8am – 5:30pm, Tues 10am -7pm, Wed-Fri 8am – 5:30pm. NO SATURDAYS OR ON-CALL. Our appointment schedule provides our staff with time to work on records, communicate effectively with clients, and make it home in time for dinner. We do not offer boarding or grooming, allowing our staff to focus on medicine and patient care. Formal mentoring program for new and newer grads.
We are technology-forward with digital radiology and dental radiology, in-house blood machines, AI-powered cytology, surgical laser, therapy laser, ultrasound, and AI-assisted record-keeping.

Salary starts at $100-$120K based on experience, with quarterly production-based bonuses with no negative accrual. Benefits package includes health/vision/dental insurance, paid-time-off (including birthdays), matching retirement, CE allowance and paid days off for CE, an Employee Assistant Program providing mental-health support, and more.
